Anna-Grett (Anna to most), has a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology after six years of university training.
The world of psychology was a natural career option for Anna – her father was a Psychiatrist – so counselling is in her genes and connecting with people, her obvious passion.
But teaching is also in Anna's genes - her mum was a teacher - so Anna has a big whiteboard in her office for both her and her clients to use. When our eyes are connected to 80% of our brain, we sometimes need to draw pictures (no art involved) to explain things better.
Since graduating in 2000, Anna has always been in private practice and has had good rapport with her clients and the GPs in her local community.

Now in her 50s with 2 adult sons nearing their 30s, and after many years of child and adult counselling, Anna has moved on to only working with adults age 21 and older.

Doing therapy in her office is Anna's 'Happy Place', so take the steps to make an appointment... and join her there.
Anna's personal interests
Away from work, Anna enjoys following her other passion - African Wildlife! She is passionate about Rhino and Elephant conservation, as well as sustainable living and recycling. She tries to go on a 3-5 week self-drive African overlanding safari every year wit her husband (and Best Mate). She likes to listen to music, enjoys reading and making photo diaries for her family to enjoy. Anna also enjoys writing poetry and children's stories. She is currently writing her first psychology/conservation book.
